Went flying to dinner(140 there, 100 back, 120knt average ill happily take, gotta love the cool air.) and used my rc heli tach to check my prop rpm. Its an optical device that accurately measures headspeed, or in this case, prop speed. I was a solid 130rpm low on my tach. That surprised me, and made me happy to know that my airplane is actually on the high end of static. :)
