Climbing out of Death Valley (L06) today in my Dakota it was 95 degrees and 300 pounds under gross. Despite a speed of 100 to 110kts, perhaps even more, reduced power and rich mixture, and seeing minimum climb of 200-300 fpm, struggled to keep CHT at 412-415 or so on #2... Others were cooler. Any tips on ways to help this. It didn't get under 400 until after about 5000 feet. Takeoff was at 210 feet below sea level.

Once at cruise all my CHTs were in the 345 range.
