The post on load carrying got me digging around looking at post on fwd cg issues and that got me started on the SL567 inner tube change with the expanded cg envelope again.
Mine is on the end of the first section of serial numbers requiring a tube change in addition to the flight manual update. Being 6'2 and well over recommended bmi i could use the extra room.
I got stuck last time when i could not figure out how to identify the heavy tube, texas air salvage list a 65280-000 not the (65280-00V) it is from a 77 161 if memorie serves at all.
Any one know what to look for, is there a measurment or a visual cue to look for?my manual only shows one number and no effectivity. Just the note about order plug and O ring if replacing one that has a welded end. I dont want to order a $500 used part and have no way of identifying it.
