I have a weird starting symptom going on with my Warrior. Ever since I had a digital RPM tach installed my warrior has trouble starting in the start position. After about 10 seconds of turning over i release it from the start position (to not overheat the starter) and as soon as I release the key it fires right up. Its almost like the P-Leads are crossed or shorting when in the start position. Mentioned this to the A&P and they sort of sluffed it off as impossible. On a cold engine I give two shots of primer, mixture full rich, throttle at 1/4"ish (around 1100rpm when it does start) at 2500asl. I havent tried starting with the mixture leaned, nor pumping the throttle (as I strongly dislike engine fires). By cold engine I mean it never gets colder than 60f as it sits inside a heated hangar
