A few years after we bought our Lance in 1988, we had an issue where the gear pressure switch failed causing the gear pump to run constantly during a long flight. That resulted in the pump failing and some fun with the emergency gear procedure and firetrucks called out for us at the airport. After landing safely, the pump issue was fixed and the mechanics put in an LED indicator on the panel that showed when the gear pump was running. Unfortunately, when we had a GPS installed years ago, the folks who installed the GPS removed that indicator, and everyone at the shop which installed it are gone (literally - RIP). Any recommendations for a shop in the midwest that is competent enough to rig up another indicator? I've attached a schematic but not sure if it's better to attach the diode leads to the gear pump relays (showing when the relay is activated) or the gear pump itself (showing when the gear pump is getting voltage).
