Does anyone know if you HAVE to use the SD card provided by Garmin? I only have one card. I tried copying the data from the card I have to new 8GB card, but the GTN gave me database not found errors. I also tried doing a fresh update to a new, blank card.

Basically did an update on the Garmin card, then did the same thing, installing everything to a blank card. The two cards should have looked the same (same files), but the new card was missing a ton of files. I copied the missing files files from the Garmin card to the new card and haven't tried it yet.

Does Garmin embed something that can't be copied from their SD cards? Can't figure out why the Garmin card works, but a byte for byte copy of it won't. They get $600 for a $5 SD card and I pay them enough every year as it is.
