I received an email from Foreflight that says they confirmed the bluetooth GPS issue introduced in iOS 8.3 is fixed in iOS 8.4 that was released this morning.
I'm still going to stay on iOS 8.2 a few weeks to see what other new bugs iOS 8.4 brings with it :)
