Going through my first Annual (Owner Assist). Has been quite an eye opener.. Generally speaking the plane is in very good shape. Only major airframe work so far has been removing part of the rudder linkage to treat for rust. A few not so pleasant items were discovering previous wheel bearings were replaced with non FAA-PMA versions and wings that were supposedly CorrosionX treated and weren't.

I'm grateful my A&P has a much higher attention to detail than the previous owners even if it is at a great expense.

Now just waiting for parts to arrive, and then get to put it all back together. I think I've removed a 1000 screws so far.
