I purchased a blade cover from Bruce's when I purchased my cockpit cover and Piper diaper. It was a "pouch" made from some kind of "leather-ette" material, and frequently would fall off. I'd strap it to the pitot blade using the velcro tie wrap as tightly as possible, then would come back to the plane days later to find it on the ground under the wing.

After a nice storm here, the blade cover is nowhere to be found. I don't know if it washed down a storm drain, or some other nice airport tenant now has a "new" cover for themselves, but it's gone.

What's your favorite blade cover? Does it stay attached well?

Thanks for suggestions,
Pete
