I have a PA-28 and am in the process of doing all the mods to the electrical system. Have a Sky Tec starter, but still have some issues starting and want to do as much as I can to make sure the electrical system can deliver plenty of power to starter when needed. I am going to do the Bogart Mods for the battery box and starter cables, looking at which battery maintainer to add, but would like to add an external power plug too..

Where or who has an STC for the external power adaptor?

I realize external power is usually the less than ideal way to start, but I would like a back up if ever needed, so as to have an option if it does not fire up on first or second try, before I drain down the battery, if I'm away from home.

Thanks for any assistance.
