Now that I am flying my pa-32-260 I am looking for discrepancies that only show up in flight.

Noticed today that I am not getting full rpm on take off. The tach is way over in the right hand corner but it seems to be only reading 2400 rpm on take off. Definitly not coming up to red line. I tried it several time and the results were the same.

Book calls for governor adjustment. Seems like a lot of adjustment for governor.

Any other ideas?
