What's the current status?
So, it's not exactly clear to me. Has electronic ignition been approved for both? As I have been following this topic the last few years I was aware it was only approved to replace one of the two magnetos. In recent months I've heard and read some subtle comments about "when I get my second" or "now that I have 2". I don't remember the edict coming out and thought it would be rather earth shattering and hard to miss the message. I also don't keep my ears very close to the scanner on these types of things from time to time. Maybe I've been too distracted this summer with non-aviation items when it changed?
