My 74 Warrior's electric trim seems to be really strained by the cold weather. The previous owner reported the issue when I picked it up, and I inspected the jack screw for old or caked up lubricant - but everything seemed fresh and clean. A visual inspection of the unit revealed no obvious explanation either. It works fine when warm but when cold it's very slow and needs help by hand. The trim wheel is snug, but not hard to move.... (Similar to the amount of force needed to adjust mixture... It'll move freely but far from moving on its own)

Any thoughts for things to look at myself before calling the local shop?
