On my pilot-side interior wall panel, the rear attachment point is loose. The small metal clip that is meant to hold it does not seem to be doing anything - it is like it is not extending far enough towards the window.

If I slightly pull out the B-pilar plastic and correctly press down the side panel, it will stay like that for a day or so but then pop back out. I have considered putting some velcro on the very rear of the side panel near where it meets the panel for the rear seats. This way it will be held to the B-pillar and maybe not be able to move up and out. There really should be a screw there like there is on the panel behind it.

It looks like if I just bend the metal clip down so that it is closer to the screw, it won't solve the problem of it being too far from the edge of the window.

When I press the panel down near the window, I can't feel it hitting or interacting with the metal clip.

Thoughts?
