New to the forum! Just joined but I've been following for a while, and just want to say that there is a ton of great info being discussed. Hopefully, I won't pollute that...

I recently purchased a 80 Dakota and took my first good look under the panel and found that I have 7-8 inline fuses. Since they are all secured with cable ties, it's near impossible to trace their owner. I also don't have enough aftermarket stuff to account for all the inlines...

Is this common? Seems counterintuitive in an aircraft...
