I'm looking to start making some longer trips in the Comanche soon. Before I do, I was looking at what would be smart to take along with me.

Typically it would be just me and my wife - 205lbs and 115lbs plus a 60lb dog and bags.

I've started making a list. Initially it includes some bottled water, a knife, and a Satellite rescue beacon.
Also a new tube and tire and a couple quarts of oil.

I am thinking I need a small tool kit to include a screwdriver with swappable bits, 3/8 through 3/4 wrenches, a spark plug socket and extension, a ratchet and 3/8-3/4 sockets. A spare spark plug and fuses. A small spool of safety wire, dykes, and a pliers.

Maybe a jump pack? Although that might be an in flight fire risk?

I plan to also carry a couple spare bolts/castle nuts/cotter keys for the nose gear scissors. Plan to remove the bolt and safety wire it so that if someone overturns it with a tug, the safety wire will give vs. breaking off the stops. I have a red flag that will be attached as well.

A couple O2 bottles and pendants.

What else have you found to be handy/saved your a** on some longer trips?
