Crazy optical effect

I can't seem to post a movie or GIF file here, but here's a link to a short video my wife filmed yesterday. The angle of the sun and our position relative to the clouds made it look like we were about to have a mid-air!

This happened over and over until we were clear of the clouds. I wish we had more than an iPhone with us at the time to film it.
