Well, I just got home from picking up my Six. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong (I'm a 200 hr pilot, and this is my first experience with a constant speed prop) but my cruise speed was around 115 knots verified with the garmin 430 and Foreflight. I flew between 3500 and 5500 ft, zero wind, and played with the power settings during the 3hr+ trip from London, Ky and Gaithersburg, MD. I knew the Six was slow, but I was expecting at least 130 knots out of the Avgas guzzling 300 hp engine.
