I have a JPI 830 and as we all know, it's not primary for anything. I'm going to install a CGR 30C so I can get rid of the factory fuel level, fuel pressure, oil presssure, oil temp, RPM, MP, amps and volts. The plan is to put RPM, MP and the 4 fuel tanks on page 1 with volts and amps in the digital only fields. Oil pressure, oil temp and fuel pressure on page 2...along with anything else I can add.

Question is, where do you mount the ECM? Makes sense to put it near the engine, but then I'll have to run the fuel sender wires through the firewall to connect to it. If I mount it in the cabin, connecting fuel gauges is easier, but all the engine sensors have to come through the firewall.

Wondering what everyone else did.
