My nephew has been learning to fly in my plane with my instructor. I have my PPL (about 300 hrs), my nephew just soloed. (Has around 15 hours, I think.)

Question: Can I fly with him (in the right seat) as pilot in command, while he flies the plane from the left seat?

The reason I ask is his instructor is awfully busy, and I'd like to give my nephew a chance to fly and ask questions, etc...

Looking for both legal and/or is this a good/bad idea.

Thanks
