Got this in the mail from the County of L.A. Assessor's office. It asks me to update info on my plane annually, including Purchase price and any additional equipment that has been installed.

I have already paid the sales tax on the plane - part of it to Georgia where I bought the plane and the other part to CA where I live. Why are they assessing the value of my plane? Are they going to charge me even more tax on it? Like property tax? What the hell man I already paid thousands in sales tax!!

What can I expect?
