Hi all.

One of the bucket list items under my aviation goals is to fly to the Bahamas.

I have been reading a lot of info on it/talking with folks etc.

Anybody here have that under the belt?

If so, what would be your suggestions? Routes? Etc?

Looks like heading east ~ New Smyrna would be ideal and would limit the ocean travel.

I am not concerned about the flight as much as just what to expect over there as far as airports/issues.

Ideally, I would like to go somewhere other than a typical tourist destination i.e. more remote but not too remote.

Thanks all
