I have a 1964 Aztec . I am not getting any charge from either alternator. There is no one at my home field to look at it so my mechanic suggested that he could help me trouble shoot it over the phone. I have left him a message with my findings but have not heard back yet so if I'm thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas here. I have done these tests with the battery charged, master on, engines off . I have power in and out if the over voltage relays, in and out of the voltage regulators. I am told there should be line voltage at the small wire going into the alternator to excite the alternator. I do not have voltage there. The way I understand it is the blue wire at the voltage regulator should send power to the alternator ? Is this correct ? If so where should I look now for a break in the system? Any help would be greatly appreciated-
