In my '76 Aztec, you can see directly from the nose baggage compartment into the avionics tray. It seems like there should be a screen or divider of some sort in front of that to keep stray items in the baggage compartment from bouncing into the avionics in flight. And an A&P I talked to said he had seen planes that were so equipped. But I can't find an item like that in the Aztec parts catalog.

So the question is does your plane have any sort of divider protecting the avionics from the nose baggage compartment?
