Does anyone know what the available height of the avionics stack in the late 70s PA28 panels is? I'm specifically eyeing a '79 Dakota but I think it should be the same across all the 28s of that vintage. I know the top is not usable for full depth avionics due to the sloping top of panel. In my 180B the bottom of the stack would not hold full depth either because of the "T" structure that moves aft when the yoke is pulled and potentially gets into the lower radios. Not sure if / why this would be different in the Dakota, but I'm sure the group does. Thanks!
