Perhaps someone here has experience or knowledge that I need.

I just sold my Cessna Cardinal and am looking at a Cherokee 6. I've got a couple that I'm looking at. In my price range, they all have either a 430W or 530W, engine monitor, 6 pack instruments, good airframe and low time engine. But, the autopilots are varied.

Can someone give me an idea on autopilot upgrades including cost

One plane has a Century IIIB, another has a Century IIIB with STEC system 60. How much is it to add on a system 60? Is that a good upgrade path? How much would it be to add on a GPSS module? Would it be better to remove the Century system and add on a newer attitude based autopilot? Is there a different path?

Thanks for any help.
