I found this photocopy in my "archives" the other day.
Being as I recently learned that Mr. Mattson has passed away, I thought this might serve as a nice tribute to him.
I met Mr. Mattson at Oshkosh 2 or 3 years ago, standing near his Cherokee. I asked him a question, I don't recall what, most likely something about speed mods, and we got on the topic of rigging. He handed me this photocopy from "Pipers" magazine. Our brief conversation was cut short, and I never saw him again.
I've attached both a JPG and a PDF of the article. Not sure which is the better format.
Blue skies and tailwinds Mr. Mattson!
