My avionics shop has been having just a tough time trying to find a quiot area on my Saratoga for the Aspen RSM module that contains the magnetic flux detector for the compass.

The Blower motor and the vent cable attached to the blower has been a major source of magnetic disturbance.

Has anyone been through this and if so, where did you end up finding the perfect spot?

Aspen has been really great with us as we have worked through this and some other issues. I can't say enough about the companies customer service. But in the end it's frustrating having your plane in the shop for as long as I have and now we are down to finding a clean zone.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
