At Chicago a Southwest jet almost lands on a corporate jet. The corporate jet was crossing the runway. The SW plane was able to pull up at the last moment and a collision was avoided.
According to the FAA person on TV the small jet was told "position and wait". But to me that is not denial to cross the runway. It should have been something like , "Stop, Stop, hold present position". The word "position" always meant on the runway and ready to take off.
