...in my journey to finally, after far too many years, add ASEL to my PPL/Glider. Did my long solo X/C yesterday. KGOK > KMLC > KSWO > KGOK. What a feeling doing it in MY airplane!
The only minor hiccup was while at KSWO doing the required 3 T/O's and landings at a towered airport, the traffic was thick... lots of training going on with OSU students. So it took quite a bit longer than expected. Upon return to KGOK, just as I was about to call to close my flight plane, they called me! Said I had just gone yellow, and were calling to check.
