Hey guys. I'm using the AOPA Aircraft Purchase Agreement to possibly put a deposit on a 69' Cherokee 180 with very low times for its age and date of engine overhaul. TT=2800, SMOH=600(in 1991). That to me seems like a lot of time to not use your airplane. Any ideas on writing something into the agreement, in addition to the {discrepancies affecting the airworthiness of the Aircraft repaired at Seller's expense} clause that I really like? I'm only allowed a bore scope inspection and maybe remove a mag to check for corrosion. There are no oil analysis available. And I haven't read through the log books yet, although they are apparently complete. Thanks! :)

To be clear, I'm curios if anyone has had a situation where during a prebuy, your mechanic discovered that the engine had corrosion and you decided to back out of thee deal.
