As a new airplane owner, I feel that it is my responsibility to look up all AD's for my airplane and ensure compliance. I know mechanics are supposed to check.

But, how do I look up all AD's that affect my bird along with appropriate timelines? I want to make a list, perhaps in Excel, then go through my logs and write down date last checked/complied with, expiration, etc just to lay a ground work for which to proceed.
