Hey there. Thanks in advance for reading. New member here, plain owner for about 4 years. Love my plane, but she's full of steam gauges which are not compatible with my IFR training that I'll need to do. Question is, I'm trying to remove directional gyro, turn coordinator, and also airspeed indicator and AI to get them overhauled. Gyro In the turn coordinator are buzzing on and off like mosquitoes, figuring the bearing is about to go, DG does not work since last annual, not willing to have the AP who did the annual get his hands up in there, AI and airspeed indicator have foggy glass.

Main question is, I pulled off the plastic overlay, but cannot seem to figure out which screws to undo to get the actual metal part of the panel forward so that I can get to the back of the panel where the instruments are. Do I have to go from up and under for everything? Doesn't seem practical so just looking for some confirmation either way. Thank you
