Im sure this has been well covered before, but I'm not finding it.

I have a 1971 Cherrokee, Club Airplane. We have the larger yoke shaft, and always have. we had the original bowtie yoke and one broke. We sourced a set of yokes from a local non airworthy aircraft and replaced both with the new style yokes at the universal.

Now we have a chatter in the controls towards the full aft position where the yokes start to angle up-ish. You can put LPS or lithium lube (mechanic recommendation) on it and it goes away, but comes back within about 24hours of flight time. I know the service manual says not to lube it.

It doesn't seem to be noticeable in flight, but on a flight control check it is. The membership keeps getting concerned about it....

anyone else got this going on, or got any advise on it
