Ended up being able to do the cross country today with our friends. From northeast Arkansas to jack Edwards. Our departure was delayed a couple hours due to weather and the entire trip was zig zagging between cells all the way down. It was an absolutely gorgeous flight slipping a few miles past thunderstorms.
I was on flight following the whole time and got a a little ATC help a couple times but overall the stratus worked wonderfully. No way would I have been able to make the cross country without it.
