I have a kx 155 with gs and kx 165 loc but no dme receiver. Ok for all the people saying save your money for a gps, that is not happening so save those replies. My budge is around $2000, avionics shop said they could install in a day and charge about $1000. I am looking for a kn 64 and antenna but wonder if i will need to buy anything else in order to use it on ils approaches, e.g. any other device or equipment. I forgot to ask the tech earlier when asking about the price.
