I've come very close to installing a GTN750 and GTX345 in my PA32. Garmin has $1,000 rebate on the GTN and $500 on the GTX. Add the FAA $500 for ADS-b and that's $2,000 right now. I almost pulled the trigger last week. Then I had a discussion with a fellow pilot: It is looking like the FAA is very close to giving us GA guys some relief on avionics by allowing us to use the same avionics as the experimentals in our certified aircraft. So, I'm now thinking it may be best to wait a year or two before upgrading. I'm interested to know your thoughts.
