Before I take my plane into the avionics shop next week, I was wondering if anyone could give me advise.

I use a Narco 122D for instrument flying. Today on an approach, I could nor receive the VOR greater than 10 miles out. I tested it on a few VORs and it can not pickup the signal until I am with 10 miles. Does this sound like an antenna reception issue? If so, does anyone suggest a make and model of a new one?

Thanks. Brad
