Did an IFR training flight today. Practicing steep turns under the hood...got home and reviewed some in flight video. Check out the vertical card compass during this steep turn. I start from about a 360 heading and turn to the right....

I have not been looking at the compass (yet) during practicing this maneuver so haven't noticed anything like this before.

I am aware of compass turning errors ANDS, UNOS. This seems different though.
