The turn coordinator on my 85 Archer doesn't like winter and it is noisey. It seems to work perfect with no red flag other than the squealing noise. I'm guessing it needs brushes, bearings or lubrication. What are my best options to resolve? I see it was repaired by Aircraft Quality Instruments at over 1000 hours ago. How long do they usually last? This one has 2750 TT with an overhaul mid way. Maybe I should replace it with something more modern.

I don't think I want to replace it with a G5 at this point. I was hoping that Garmin will add an AP roll output before I replace the AI.
