This thread on Facebook from a Saratoga TurBo owner, and I thought it was strange, in that we’ve never seen any better performance than what he described as something being wrong?

2000 Turbo Saratoga II. I am getting a drop in manifold pressure starting around 6,000’. This morning when I took off, manifold held at 37.0” all the way to 6,000’ and then had dropped to 32.9” by the time I climbed to 9,000’.

This is our first turbo but have been flying this one for almost a year and the manifold has always held where I set it.

What could possibly be the issue? Wastegate, induction leak, turbo, exhaust?
