I don't have one yet, but am thinking hard about installing one this year. My understanding is that it is a full two axis unit, meaning that it will hold altitude or vertical speed, as selected, power still manual of course. If you are in a cruise trimmed position and command it to descend with resulting increased airspeed, with no manual feedback on the yoke, will the system provide any info as to the need to apply nose down trim or will the servo just hold the proper force on the controls? Seems like any change in trim while the alt or vs feature is engaged will result in greater or lesser forces on the servo. Is it strong enough to handle the full range of trim? If you disengage the autopilot or it disconnects itself while flying in an out of trim condition, what then? Sudden nose up or nose down?

How does this work on the Trutrak?
