This isn't a Piper specific question and if the moderators need to delete it, I understand. I am doing a 3ish hour cross country (in a Piper :)) with some friends and they asked if they could bring their dog in a crate. Google took me to an AOPA article about transporting dogs that specified some breeds are significantly more susceptible to hypoxia than humans are. If the dog feels euphoric or has impaired judgment, that isn't the end of the world but I would REALLY not like to kill or permanently damage a friend's dog. Does anyone have any dog flying experience and is there anything I should do differently regarding my altitude selection?

Thank you for any help/advice.
