Complementary V-ref analysis of one’s aircraft used to be included with the AOPA membership, but hasn’t been for a while now.
It now costs to subscribe to V-ref, although I heard (but haven’t confirmed) that one’s aircraft insurance brokers subscribe to V-ref and would/should provide their clients (i.e., us) with its use.
First of all, how valuable or useful for prospective sellers/buyers is V-ref nowadays? Is it worth it? Secondly, is there a “free” V-ref source available? And lastly, are there other similar database sources for pricing the value of aircraft (other than scouring recent Trade-a-Plane issues etc.)?
