The tread on my tires is getting thin so I want to get some tires ordered and be prepared for the 100 hr inspection when it comes due.

I've heard Goodyear is highly recommended but hoping for some less expensive but quality alternatives. Aircraft Spruce has quite an assortment ranging from $75 to over $250 per tire, depending on ply, which is my next question. 4 or 6?

I imagine 4 ply is sufficient for a 2150 max gross weight Cherokee.
