The company that I work for builds nuclear reactors, fuel rods and a lot of other stuff, like UAV aircraft... The owners, Neal and Linden Blue, have been involved in aircraft and flying for a long time. Linden Blue was the president of Beechcraft and the one behind the Starship.... In 1956, the brothers talked Piper Aircraft into giving them a Tri-Pacer that they went around south America... rather an interesting story... They were on the Cover of Life Magazine with an article about there adventures with the Tri-Pacer.

In 1966, again with Piper support, they again created there South American adventure, this time in 2 Twin turbo Comanche aircraft. A month of flying and over 32,000 miles were documented and the following video is what was presented. It is a good overview of what the Comanche's were capable of, and to think most of the flying also was where the Tri-Pacer went before is rather amazing.

We are currently building the MQ-9B Sky Guardian UAV, 80 ft wingspan, 1500 HP turbine un-maned plane with 50 hr flight time above 30k ft. Building Composite aircraft is fun, however, our old Aluminum aircraft are also FUN!.,..
