Well, for anyone that has been following my sad three month mechanical odyssey to Hxxx and back, things are finally looking up.

This came through the maintenance hangar door, late today!

Bob & I rolled up our sleeves, maneuvered the engine in and snugged up the engine mounts, of course we got new Lord mounts.

Ran the primer lines to tidy them up, just connected them loosely, and rearranged a few things. Then got to work on epoxying the two oil pan heater plates. They will be snugged up overnight by the large belt you can see here. Want to get that out of the way first, and the first night does that nicely for us. Heated Cylinder bands will be added later at our leisure.

Sadly I have to head to work tomorrow. Bob thinks we'll be in the air by Thursday afternoon, Friday latest. Seems almost impossible to believe that, after what seems to have been an eternity.
