I’ve been reading FAR 61.129 paragraph J, and where it says in sentence (2), “An electronic multifunction display that includes, at a minimum, a moving map using GPS navigation with the aircraft position displayed.”

Would a Garmin GNX375 count for this? It also says in (4), last sentence, “must be continuously visible”.

Bottom line, I just had a Aspen E5, TruTrak and a Garmin GNX375 installed (really loving it) but was trying to determine if that makes the plane a “Technically Advanced Aircraft”?

At first I thought so, but after reading the part “continuously visible”, I’m confused now. Just because if you hit the menu button, the moving map is no longer visible.

Thanks guys.
