Takeoff distance from risingup/pilotfriend

Both sites tell us the 180 Arrow takeoff (50ft) distance is 1240ft

POH tells close to 2000ft (which is more is line with reality)


Also, I had a look at the Cherokee 180, they say 1620ft.

I can't really judge because my former 180 had speed mods and droop tips, but I would have comfortably flown on grass strips (not paved) of that length even in summer, and POH says less than that.


How to trust data for any other plane ?

Where does this info come from ?
