Started painting the turbo arrow

I started painting the Turbo Arrow. First I had to paint the red N numbers over (with white) so that they would later show up after painting the original white bottom Dodge Blue Streak Pearlcoat Metallic. It looked funny with the blue tape making it look like a blue N number in the interim. Anyway, it will be as you see with the blue... and next I'll add a 6" Dodge Deep Cherry Red Metallic Pearlcoat stripe above the blue, and also under the blue on the fin... and inwards of the blue on the wing and stab tips... Then GM-12 White (which is like Matterhorn White). All in Dupont Acrylic Polyurethane Enamel (Imron). I took measures (sanded) to be certain the original stripes did not leave any lines that would show. The original paint was in reasonable shape so I did not strip it. Here is the first step.
